What do you do when your sister invents a machine that allows her to eavesdrop on the past? When you can flip a switch and live in the mind of someone who is long dead? Eve struggles to help her sister, Sarah, with her research even as the outcry surrounding the imager’s invention threatens their peaceful existence. When Sarah’s obsession with using the device to witness their parents’ deaths fractures her mind, Eve must face the realization that survival is more important than her need for self-denial. Especially when the fanaticism of an unexpected enemy proves that the danger is real and not just an illusion of the past.
